1953/60 Gibson Les Paul Standard
This former Gold Top was converted to the specs of a 59 -60 Les Paul in the early 70's- the neck reset to the correct angle, tunematic bridge and PAF pick-ups installed. Same wood. If youv'e never played a 59 Burst this is what its like. A certain Tone and Feel which has never been replicated.
1954 Gibson Les Paul Standard Gold Top
2 stock P90's Quintessential Rock Sound. Think- Stone's, Exile and Sticky Fingers Era. or Neil Young's Black (as he calls it)
1959 Gibson Les Paul Junior
All Original, Cherry Red, one P90- ready to rock.
1959 Gibson ES355 Mono
Rare mono version with to PAF's Very Sweet Guitar, a luxury 335. Johnny Marr -Smiths era.
1960 Gibson ES330-Bigsby
Cherry Red, Billy G customised the fret-board. Billy Gibbon's first Gibson? This model sounds incredible, the Beatles loved the Epi-Casino, which is exactly the same guitar.
1982 Gibson Explorer, Korina
Early Custom Shop, great sound. Korina was the original wood for these in the 50's and is much better on these models than mahogany
1959 Re issue Gibson Custom Shop 'Don Felder'
The 'Hotel California' guitar re issued. Aged model. Same as 'Pearly Gates' which I compared this to. I also have a Yamano R9 a R7 Standard and a R7 Custom. Photo coming.
1956 Fender Stratocaster
56 maple board neck, 57 alder body, 60 pickups. Great sounding guitar.
1995 Fender Stratocaster '60 Re-issue
Customshop Firemist Gold '60 re-issue with Van Zandt Pickups. Texas flavoured
1955 Fender Telecaster
This one been around the block a couple times but sounds huge.
1985 Levinson Blade Tele
Levinson of Switzerland introduced some awesome Fender replica's onto the market in the 80's. Mostly Strats, here is a rare Tele.
1975 Fender Starcaster
The Venerable Starcaster. Another very under-rated guitar - as Radiohead and the killers have realised.
1963/66 Fender Jagmaster
A custom job that I put together with a friend, 63 Jaguar body and a 66 Jazzmaster neck with Tele pickups and a Bigsby. Funky but affective!
1959 Epiphone Zephyr Regent
Same as the model played by John Lee Hooker 'cept his '61 had minihumbuckers and this has original New York Epiphone single coils. These were made by Gibson in 59.
1963 Epiphone Professional
This has been upgraded with to PAF's style humbuckers and a stop-tail tuneamatic bridge. These were also made by gibson and are essentially a ES335. They just look cooler!
1959 Epiphone E422T
Rare 2 pickup model. Essentially the same as the Zephyr Regent but different!.
1966 Epiphone Rivoli Bass 2D
Same as the Gibson EB2D Bass. Cool 60's sounding. The bassist in QOTSA uses one a lot. Does Jack Bruce in a pinch but its all about the 2 pick-up model. 1 pick-up = Mud.
2009 Crockenbacker 12 String
A 360 f-body replica like the one played by Tim Rogers 'cept this is a 12 str.
1958 Gretsch Streamliner
Pre PAF filtertron. This model became the 6120. This thing is cool!
1964 Gretsch Sam Ash 6117
Rare model made specially for the Sam Ash music stores in the States. this one is in 'Monkees' Red. Like the Gretsch Monkees model. 2 Dynosonics have replaced the Hi-lo trons. Why? 'cause all Gretsch's should have Dynosonics, especially one that looks this cool!
1956 Fender Precision Bass
Like the guitar equivalents the Fender bass's of the 50's use the best Swamp Ash that ever existed, as a result they produce HUGE tone.
1987 Rickenbacker 4003
The Tuxedo/Whitestar Bass Limited Edition series came out at the same time as the Blackstar.
1999 Greco Thunderbird
Black-Bird. Great sounding bass, looks very cool. These have a maple neck and mahogany body unlike the gibson's all mahogany. I think they sound better.
1962 National Newport 88 Res-O-Glass
Two pickups plus a piezo under the bridge. Dan Auerbach and Jack White dont play these Res O Glass models just 'cause they look cool, they play real nice and sound awesome! Just add Big Muff and stir for some Thickfreakness.
1985 Yamaha TSG
The Ultimate SG. A Limited Edition of 59 for the 20th Anniversary. Old Growth Wood Hand -carved by the Luthiers at Yamaha. Currently has Wolftone pickups.
1979 Tokai Les Paul Reborn LS100
The Original replica. When Gibson started making re-issues they looked at an original 59 and these to figure out how to do it.
2008 Flaxwood Aija
I know it ain't vintage but this shit works, very cool.Made from a wood-based composite material called "flax" has the density and consistency of ebony (1,2 kg/cm³; 74906 lb/ft³) and is unaffected by humidity and temperature variations and rid of irregularities such as grain and knots which are normally found in traditional tonewoods.
The composite material is created by reducing the grain structure of natural wood, in this case northern spruce, great tone.
I’d like to rent the:
